Seton Medical Center Harker Heights Appoints Shanna Cameron CFO

Harker Heights, TX (November 16, 2020) –Seton Medical Center Harker Heights has appointed a new leader, Shanna Cameron, as chief financial officer (CFO). She will begin her new role on November 16, 2020. Cameron will succeed Thomas Whalen who has served as interim CFO during a nation-wide search for a permanent leader.

Shanna comes to Seton Medical Center from Brownwood Regional Medical Center in Brownwood, Texas, where she has been CFO since May of 2019. She oversaw the financial and strategic operations of the 188 bed acute hospital.

Previously, Shanna served as the Assistant CFO of Cedar Park Regional Medical from 2016-2019 and the Finance Manager for the Baylor Scott & White Memorial Campus in Temple, TX from 2012-2016.

Shanna, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) was born and raised in Temple, Texas. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration from Tarleton State University.
