I was absolutely terrified to have surgery. This was my very first surgery and I couldn’t have been in better hands. Dr.Tawfik came to talk to me and answer all questions that I had. He thoroughly explained everything and put my fears at ease. He actually listens to you and does not judge you for any feelings that you may have. Truly an amazing doctor

Dr. Tawfik was amazing. I ended up in the nightmare scenario of very suddenly needing emergency surgery. Dr. Tawfik addressed all of my concerns and sat with my wife while I was regaining consciousness. His results as a surgeon are also outstanding. I can barely see most of my incisions and my healing has been uncomplicated. I have a lot of unfortunate history with doctors and this experience was the best that I could have asked for. I couldn't have gotten cut open by a nicer guy.

The level of care here is great! From the check in to leaving. Unfortunately I have had to be seen often due to health issues I have. He is very professional, attentive and efficient and understanding. Bonus he's extremely knowledgeable in my chronic conditions! He explains all the options and benefits or risks in a way that's understandable and gives input on why or why not something would be good option. As far as surgery goes it is usually a pretty scary thing and he definitely makes me feel as comfortable as possible and he takes a very conservative approach with me as I have many different health issues so surgery is a bit harder on me and healing is longer. He really makes sure I understand every option available, which he thinks would be best but takes my thoughts and wants/needs in to account as well. He explains everything thoroughly. He is very caring and respectful and makes sure I'm comfortable with the treatment plan. He takes his time and I never feel like I'm rushed or not being listened to. I trust him and his entire staff! I've seen a few surgeons between myself and family members and he is definitely very personable and genuine compared to most! I would recommend him to anyone including my own family or friends who needed a general surgeon. His MA DeAndre is fantastic as well! She always has a smile on her face, answers any questions I have and also if I need to message outside of my appt times she responds in a very timely manner! They both are very caring, friendly and go above and beyond here!
