Lisa Hoelscher, APRN, AGNP-C, is a certified adult-gerontology nurse practitioner who cares for patients ages 13 to 99. Her health care philosophy centers on educating, empowering and encouraging patients to take an active role in their well-being through a team-based approach. She is committed to helping patients make informed decisions that support a long, healthy and fulfilling life.

Lisa earned Bachelor of Science degrees in psychology and nursing from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. She later completed a Master of Science in nursing at The University of Texas at Arlington. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as an adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner.

Inspired by her mother and sister, both of whom are nurses, Lisa developed an early interest in health care and the disease process through family conversations. A lifelong resident of Temple, she has been married for 35 years and enjoys spending time with her two grown children, who also live in Temple.
