Seton Medical Center Harker Heights nationally recognized for its commitment to providing high-quality stroke care

HARKER HEIGHTS, TX (July 29, 2026) – Seton Medical Center Harker Heights has received the American Heart Association’s Get With The Guidelines® Gold Plus with Target: Stroke Honor Rolle Elite and Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll achievement awards for demonstrating commitment to following the latest evidence-based guidelines for the treatment of heart disease and stroke. Heart disease and stroke remain the leading and fifth-leading causes of death in the United States respectively, according to the American Heart Association’s 2026 Heart Disease and Stroke Statistics Report. Research shows that patients experience better outcomes when healthcare providers consistently follow evidence-based treatment guidelines.
