Jeff Spivey, MPAS, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant who specializes in orthopedic care. Prior to joining Wellstone Health Partners, he cared for patients at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center for 18 years.

Jeff has cared for patients in military and civilian healthcare settings for over 20 years. He has been involved in patient care, teaching, training and public speaking for more than 35 years. Prior to his focus in orthopedics, he practiced family medicine and urgent care.

Jeff education includes:

  • Master’s degree in in physician assistant studies in family medicine at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine at Omaha, NE, 2001
  • Bachelor of science degree in physician assistant program at the IPAP/University of Nebraska College of Medicine at Omaha, NE, 2000

What is an Orthopedic Doctor?

An orthopedic doctor is generally a surgeon who specializes in the surgical and non-surgical treatment of diseases, disorders, and injuries (including fractures) of the skeletal system: spine, joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments, and peripheral nerves. These conditions include:
