Seton Medical Center Harker Heights (SMCHH) has named Mandy Shaiffer, RN, BSN as Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), effective September 27, 2021.
“Mandy is an accomplished clinical leader with many years of experience, and I am excited to welcome her to our team,” said SMCHH Chief Executive Officer Patrick Swindle. “As CNO, Mandy will focus on maintaining the clinical processes of quality healthcare as well as building strong bonds with patients, caregivers and our community.”
Mandy’s professional successes include improvements in quality and clinical operations in acute healthcare settings. Most recently, Mandy served as CNO of Mt. San Rafael Hospital in 2015, she was CNO of Five Rivers Medical Center in Pocahontas, Arkansas and served in various other clinical positions at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Mandy fills the SMCHH CNO position left open when Calee Travis, RN, BSN, MBA, NEA-BC retired on September 10.
